Kandao Obsidian Pro is a professional cinematic VR camera designed for creating panoramic and 3D content in 12K resolution. The camera features eight APS-C sensors, an eight-lens system with electronic aperture and focus control, supports recording in KDRaw, Apple ProRes, and H.265 formats, and provides internal video stitching for live streaming. It is designed for professional VR production, filmmaking, virtual tours, and the creation of high-quality panoramic content.

The Obsidian Pro is Kandao's first panoramic camera equipped with eight APS-C sensors. This design ensures high detail, wide dynamic range, and excellent performance in low light conditions.

8K Live Streaming

The camera supports internal image stitching during streaming and video transmission in formats up to 8K 30fps or 6K 60fps. RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT protocols are supported for integration with professional streaming platforms.

Obsidian Pro uses a proprietary 8-in-1 SSD module with a capacity of up to 16 TB for recording footage from eight cameras. MicroSD memory cards are also supported for creating proxy files.
