EcoFlow Smart Meter Dual CT

EcoFlow Smart Meter Dual CT is a smart meter for the EcoFlow STREAM system that measures home energy consumption in real time and transmits data directly to the energy storage system. Thanks to this, the storage device receives information about the current load and can precisely regulate the power supply in accordance with the actual consumption of the house.

Real-time energy consumption control

Smart Meter is installed in the electrical panel and, using three current transformers (CT) — one for each phase — measures the voltage, current and power of the house. Data is transmitted via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or RS485, and the EcoFlow STREAM system responds to load changes in about 3 seconds.

Dual CT — Monitoring of two electrical circuits

The additional Dual CT port allows you to monitor not only your home's energy consumption, but also a separate energy source, such as an existing solar power plant or other energy storage system. This allows you to separately track where the electricity is coming from and where it is going.

Precise control of the energy storage system

Thanks to Smart Meter data, the EcoFlow STREAM system supplies exactly the amount of electricity your home needs at a given moment. When the load increases, the system automatically increases the power, and when it decreases, it immediately reduces it.

Overload protection

The Smart Meter constantly monitors the load on each phase. If the current on the phase to which electricity is supplied exceeds 16 A, the system automatically reduces the inverter power. This helps prevent the electrical network from being overloaded.

Compact DIN rail mounting

The device is installed on a standard 35 mm DIN rail and takes up only one 19 mm wide modular position. Tool-free Weidmüller SNAP-IN connectors are used for connection, and an external antenna ensures a stable wireless connection even in a metal electrical panel. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.

The EcoFlow Smart Meter Dual CT provides STREAM systems with accurate data on home energy consumption, allowing you to manage the accumulation and use of electricity more efficiently. It is especially important for the EcoFlow STREAM AC 5000, which uses meter data to determine surplus energy from an existing solar power plant.
