Leafcares Sample Tray
The Leafcares Sample Tray is an essential accessory for analyzing leaf tissue samples using the F-Series Scanner (not available for the E-Series).
Spread the leaf sample in the tray and position the scanner over different areas to ensure proper scanning.
It is recommended not to use a traditional tray used for soil and forage analysis for leaf samples. Because leaf tissue is thin (<2 mm), the infrared light used by the scanner penetrates the sample and only reads part of the surface composition underneath. Therefore, a special tray with a surface that allows the IR light to measure only the leaves, not the surface underneath, was created.

Proper cleaning of the white tray is essential for optimal analysis. It should only be cleaned with clean water, without detergents. Please do not use this tray for soil or forage analysis to avoid surface contamination. The tray may darken slightly over time and with use, but this does not affect the analysis results.

The AgroCares Scanner is a handheld device equipped with a near-infrared (NIR) sensor designed for analyzing soil, forage, and foliar composition. It connects to AgroCares databases to provide real-time nutrient assessments.
