A powerful quadcopter with thermal imaging, optical zoom, and rangefinder
The EVO Max 4N quadcopter offers users powerful technology and extended autonomy. The EVO Max 4N evaluates complex environments to generate 3D flight paths in real time for unprecedented obstacle avoidance. Advanced sensors enable flight in GPS-inaccessible areas, and an incredible new thermal payload opens up new scenarios for object identification and tracking. With its foldable, weather-resistant design, the EVO Max 4N is as portable as it gets.
No blind spots and absolute obstacle avoidance
This quadcopter features a combination of conventional binocular sensors with radar technology, allowing it to detect objects as small as 0.5 inches. This distinctive feature allows the drone to fly in rain or even in low-light conditions. Anti-interference protection allows for safe flight near power lines, critical structures, and in challenging environments. It also features GPS spoofing protection, EMI, and RFI countermeasures. The EVO Max 4N is The only drone that combines traditional binocular vision systems with millimeter-wave radar technology. This allows the EVO Max 4N's built-in Autonomy Engine to perceive objects as small as 0.5 inches, eliminating blind spots and enabling operation in low-light or rainy conditions.
Complete Interference Protection
The Autel EVO Max 4N quadcopter uses modern, powerful flight control modules and algorithms specifically designed to counter RFI interference, EMI, and GPS spoofing. This allows the EVO Max 4N to confidently fly near power lines, critical structures, and in challenging environments. It ensures a stable connection between the quadcopter's signal, the controller, and GPS satellites. The Autel EVO Max 4N utilizes advanced flight control modules and algorithms specifically designed to combat radio interference, electromagnetic interference, and GPS spoofing. This allows the EVO Max 4N to confidently fly near power lines, critical structures, and in challenging environments.

Key Features of a Thermal Imager Quadcopter
The Autel EVO Max 4N is an extremely capable and portable drone. It offers users powerful technology and extended autonomy. This model evaluates the complexity of the environment to generate a 3D flight path in real time for flawless interference avoidance. Advanced sensors enable flight in GPS-denied areas.

The leader in reconnaissance drones

Autonomous Pathfinding
Autel's Autonomy Engine collects environmental data and plans 3D flight paths through complex environments like mountains, forests, and buildings. Use cases include rapid 3D scene reconstruction, public safety surveillance, industrial inspection, and topographic surveying.

Navigation in GPS-denied environments
Advanced sensors allow the EVO Max 4N to navigate inside reinforced structures, underground, or in GPS-denied environments. The Autel EVO Max 4N uses advanced flight control modules and algorithms specifically designed to combat radio interference, electromagnetic interference, and GPS spoofing.

Accurate Object Identification and Tracking
Based on Autel's AI recognition technology, the EVO Max 4N can automatically identify and lock on to various types of targets, such as heat sources, moving people, or vehicles, and perform high-altitude tracking and data collection for law enforcement.

Powerful Flight Performance
The drone can perform numerous semi-autonomous flight missions, autonomous trajectory determination, live streaming, and target acquisition, and also includes various intelligent accessibility features. Potential applications for the EVO Max 4N include search and rescue, firefighting assistance, land mapping, and various patrol and inspection missions. The drone has a maximum takeoff altitude of 7 kilometers, with a flight time of 42 minutes. Takeoff and landing can withstand wind speeds of up to 12 meters per second. This drone is capable of precise hovering with or without GPS positioning. The drone features an automatic return to flight (RTH) function, which typically activates when connection is lost or the battery is low. It can also be manually activated. For a safe return, it doesn't matter whether satellite communication is available or not. The drone can easily return to altitudes of up to 500 meters, with an accuracy of less than 30 cm. It can also reach horizontal flight speeds of up to 82.3 km/h. Its maximum flight altitude is 7,000 meters. It is adapted for flights in wind speeds up to 27.8 m/s. Powered by a 4S 8070 mAh battery, it can provide 38-42 minutes of flight time, depending on piloting activity.

A-MESH 1.0 – Inter-Drone Communication Technology
Autel is introducing a new feature called A-Mesh 1.0, which takes advantage of a drone fleet by allowing these drones to communicate with each other, fly individually or together from a single station, and, most importantly, act as radio relay stations. This allows for very long-range flights by strategically placing the EVO Max 4N in order to optimize long-range communications. If one drone fails or unexpectedly leaves the system, the entire group self-organizes and continues transmitting critical information. Using A-Mesh, multiple drones in close proximity can act as relay points, significantly increasing the efficiency and range of BVLOS operations.

Zoom Camera
The onboard multi-sensor camera unit is integrated into a highly precise 3-axis mechanical gimbal, with a manual operating range of -90° to +30°. First and foremost, the zoom camera offers 8K resolution, 10x optical zoom, and 160x digital zoom. Hybrid zoom with crisp target detail at distances of up to 2 kilometers.

Laser rangefinder and integrated thermal imager
The camera unit includes a thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels, 16x digital zoom, and a temperature range of -20° to 550°. The laser rangefinder allows you to measure the distance to an object, or between objects, with a range of 5 to 1,200 meters and an accuracy of 1 meter.

Wide-angle camera
The built-in 50MP wide-angle camera is based on a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor with an 85° field of view and a maximum aperture of f/1.9. It also features a special Moonlight Agorithm 2.0 algorithm, which accelerates post-processing and allows the pilot to capture clear, detailed images in low-light conditions. Video: 4K support at 30 fps, max. ISO 64000. Photo: Moonlight mode reduces noise and improves HDR.

Smart Controller V3
For controlling the Autel EVO Max 4N quadcopter, the developer offers the new Smart Controller V3. It features a 7.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a brightness of 2000 nits. The controller boasts long battery life and fast data transfer, as well as quick access to HDMI ports, built-in memory, and much more. Pairing the controller with the Live Deck 2 accessory allows for video streaming to multiple display devices simultaneously. The Autel Enterprise app has been redesigned from the ground up and features a completely new interface for simple and efficient operation. Additional features and semi-autonomous modes maximize the capabilities of the EVO Max 4N.

Multi-Projection
The drone's video system allows multiple image sources to be displayed simultaneously on the screen, such as a zoom image, thermal imaging, and a map. The AR Scene feature overlays the video image with the positions of aircraft equipped with ADS-B transponders and control points set by the operator. It is noted that these features will be available at a later date.

Smart Features
The Autel Enterprise app provides access to drone settings, control commands, and other interesting features designed for corporate users. For example, automatic flights can be prepared based on waypoints specified on 3D maps, quick missions can be created while other missions are carried out using a summarization and priority system, or mission memorization is possible, where, by recording all flight parameters, including camera control, a similar subsequent flight can be carried out, but in fully automatic mode.

Automatic Missions
The drone system offers a fairly wide range of auto missions, including: elevation monitoring, with the ability to make changes both during the flight and by importing KML data, extended waypoints, 5-pass auto shooting at an angle, spiral auto flight, vertical auto flight, and auto flight along corridors for monitoring structures such as roads and rivers.
